This explains what QuizRoom collects, how it's used, and the controls you have. The short version: your sources are never used to train models, and you can export or delete everything at any time.
What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email), the sources you upload and questions you generate, your credit ledger and usage, and basic technical data (like the device and IP of an active session) needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
To provide generation, delivery, grading and analytics; to meter and bill credits; to secure your account (sessions, 2FA); and to send essential account email (verification, receipts, low-balance nudges you can turn off).
Your uploaded sources and generated questions are never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
Processing and third parties
Generation runs through our model provider to produce questions from the text you submit; payments run through Stripe, which handles your card details directly (we never see full card numbers). These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service.
Your controls
You can export a full copy of your data from Account → Settings at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and its data (sources, questions, attempts, credits) from the same place — deletion is immediate and irreversible.
You can also manage active sessions, turn off notification email, and cancel Pro whenever you like.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, the associated data is removed. Some minimal billing records may be retained where required by law.
